Job Details: 
  • A Line Cook is in charge of preparing food and setting up other necessary supplies. 
  • They make sure everything has been set up correctly before starting work. 
  • They use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for restaurants.

Duties include:
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions.
