Job Details:
A Line Cook is in charge of preparing food and setting up other necessary supplies.
They make sure everything has been set up correctly before starting work.
They use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for restaurants.
Duties include:
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions.
