Job Details:
- A Line Cook is in charge of preparing food and setting up other necessary supplies.
- They make sure everything has been set up correctly before starting work.
- They use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for restaurants.
Duties include:
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions.
